β-(1,4)-GalNAc transferase catalyzes the transfer of glycosyl groups to acceptor sugars such as N-acetylglucosamine, forming a β(1→4) linkage. This enzyme exhibits broad substrate tolerance and can recognize a variety of glycosyl groups, including 6-azidoGalNAc. It plays important roles in diverse biological processes such as embryonic development, immune and inflammatory responses, and tumorigenesis and tumor progression.

 

Currently, β-(1,4)-GalNAc transferase is one of the key tools for enzymatic site-specific conjugation in antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) development.

 

In addition, accurate quantification of residual enzyme levels is critical to ensuring product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

    Applications

    This product adopts a sandwich ELISA format to quantify β-(1,4)-GalNAc transferase in test samples.
