The Cell-Free Protein Expression System (E. coli) is an in vitro expression system based on Escherichia coli cell extracts integrated with essential elements for transcription and translation. It enables efficient protein synthesis initiated by T7 RNA polymerase.
Flexible and high-efficiency, the system can be widely applied in bioengineering fields such as protein engineering and high-throughput screening of AI-designed proteins.

Applications
(1) Rapid protein synthesis;
(2) High-throughput screening and experimental validation of AI-designed candidate proteins, including novel enzymes, antibody screening, mutation studies and more.
Advantages
(1) Broad template compatibility, compatible with plasmid DNA, linearized DNA and mRNA.
(2) Supports expression of various proteins with molecular weight up to 130 kDa, including some hydrophobic proteins and difficult-to-express disulfide bond-containing proteins.
(3) Flexible reaction system: efficient reactions can be achieved in volumes ranging from 10–500 µL, enabling easy scaling up or down proportionally.
(4) Wide applicable temperature range; effective protein expression can be obtained at 16 °C to 37 °C.
(5) Target protein bands can be observed in as fast as 1 hour. The standard reaction duration is 4–6 hours, and the expression level generally ranges from 0.5 to 2 mg/mL.
(6) The reaction mixture can be directly subjected to analysis such as SDS-PAGE without extra treatment. Target proteins with high purity can also be purified as required for subsequent research.
