Recombinant Lysyl Endopeptidase (Lys-C) from Yinjia Bio is recombinantly expressed in Escherichia coli. As a serine protease, it highly specifically hydrolyzes amide, ester and peptide bonds on the carboxyl side of lysine residues.Its optimal reaction pH is 9.0–9.5, and optimal reaction temperature is 30–37 °C. It retains high enzymatic activity even in the presence of 4 M urea or 0.1% SDS.
