IdeS protease from Yinjia Bio is recombinantly expressed in Escherichia coli. It specifically recognizes IgG and cleaves at a unique site within the lower hinge region of IgG, hydrolyzing IgG into intact F(ab’)₂ and Fc fragments. IdeS protease can recognize human IgG and IgG from various other species, including mouse, rabbit, monkey, sheep, as well as human‑animal chimeric IgG. With strict substrate selectivity and high enzymatic activity, it is a powerful tool for characterizing the structure of antibodies or Fc‑fusion proteins.
