Recombinant Trypsin 3.0 (MS Grade) is a recombinant porcine trypsin expressed in Pichia pastoris. Manufactured in a GMP-compliant environment, it is free of animal-derived components and animal-origin viral contamination (e.g., swine influenza virus, porcine parvovirus), and inherently lacks chymotrypsin activity.
The activity of this product is inhibited by serine protease inhibitors (e.g., PMSF, TLCK) and metal ion chelators (e.g., EDTA).
With redesigned gene sequences, Trypsin 3.0 exhibits digestion properties similar to those of wild-type trypsin while possessing exceptional stability. It undergoes negligible autolysis, which greatly reduces autolysis peaks in mass spectrometry analysis. It specifically cleaves the C-terminal peptide bonds of arginine (R) and lysine (K).
