Recombinant Trypsin 4.0 (MS Grade) is a recombinant porcine trypsin expressed in Pichia pastoris. Manufactured in a GMP-compliant environment, it is free of animal-derived components and animal-origin viral contamination (e.g., swine influenza virus, porcine parvovirus), and inherently lacks chymotrypsin activity.
The activity of this product is inhibited by serine protease inhibitors (e.g., PMSF, TLCK) and metal ion chelators (e.g., EDTA).
Trypsin 4.0 is redesigned at the gene sequence level. Compared with wild-type trypsin, it features fast enzymatic cleavage, superior self-stability and fewer autolytic peaks in mass spectrometry analysis. It specifically cleaves the C-terminal peptide bonds of arginine (R) and lysine (K).
