Recombinant RNase Inhibitor is expressed in Escherichia coli, with its sequence derived from the mouse RNase inhibitor gene. It forms a 1:1 complex with RNase to protect RNA from degradation. This is a broad‑spectrum RNase inhibitor that efficiently inhibits RNase A, RNase B, RNase C and placental RNase, but does not inhibit RNase 1, RNase T1, S1 nuclease, RNase H, or RNase from Aspergillus species. The RNase Inhibitor shows excellent compatibility and does not interfere with conventional PCR, RT‑PCR or RNA polymerase activity. It exhibits strong inhibitory activity at pH 5.0–8.0. DTT is essential for maintaining the activity of the RNase Inhibitor, with a required concentration of at least 1 mM.
