Recombinant Inorganic Pyrophosphatase
Recombinant Inorganic Pyrophosphatase

Recombinant Inorganic Pyrophosphatase is expressed in Escherichia coli, with its sequence derived from the yeast inorganic pyrophosphatase gene. In the presence of magnesium ions, this enzyme hydrolyzes inorganic pyrophosphate into two molecules of phosphate. During in vitro RNA synthesis or DNA polymerization, it degrades the byproduct pyrophosphate into two phosphate ions, relieving the inhibition of the reaction by pyrophosphate and thus significantly increasing the yield of RNA or DNA synthesis.
