Recombinant RNase III
Recombinant RNase III is expressed in Escherichia coli and derived from the E. coli RNase III gene.It is a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA)-specific endonuclease that cleaves dsRNA into fragments of 12–15 bp with 2–3 nucleotide 3' overhangs, 5'-phosphate and 3'-hydroxyl termini.
