Sortase A
Sortase A

Sortase A from Yinjia Bio is a bacterial transpeptidase recombinantly produced using prokaryotic expression systems. It specifically recognizes a conserved peptide motif on target proteins, typically LPXTG (where X denotes any amino acid), and cleaves the peptide bond between the threonine (T) and glycine (G) residues. This cleavage generates a reactive threonine residue, which forms a new peptide bond with oligo-glycine-modified substrates to enable the attachment of drug moieties. Accordingly, this enzyme can be utilized for antibody-drug conjugation reactions.
