Recombinant B4GALT1 (Y289L) from Yinjia Bio, namely β-1,4-galactosyltransferase 1, is recombinantly expressed via eukaryotic expression systems and carries the Y289L mutation. Compared with the wild-type enzyme, this mutant exhibits superior substrate recognition capability toward N-azidoacetylgalactosamine (GalNAz). It catalyzes the transfer of GalNAz onto acceptor sugars (such as N-acetylglucosamine) to form a β(1→4) glycosidic linkage, making it applicable to the field of ADC synthesis.
